1930s Striped Knit Cap, Gauntlet Gloves & Scarf Pattern (PDF Download)
For Her! A dashing little set - striped cap, scarf and matching gauntlet gloves.
*PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A DIGITAL PDF DOWNLOAD, NOT THE ORIGINAL PATTERN*
1930s cap, gauntlet gloves and scarf. Cap approx 5 1/2 " from middle of crown to edge, Gloves for a size 7 - 7 1/2 gloves (use pins no 10 and 13 for size 6 - 6 3/4) and Scarf 36" long and 8" wide. You will need the following:
- Approx 3 oz of vintage 4-ply yarn in white and 3 oz of vintage 4-ply yarn in blue
- Vintage English knitting needles sizes: 9 & 12 (either double pointed or circular for gloves)
Isn't this a cheerful-looking set! The two-colour stripes are very smart. Much of the chic of this hand-knitted set lies in the stripes. The gloves are very simply shaped, with a wider band of colour at the gauntlet wrist. This will look beautiful in cheerful Spring colours or equally as charming in earthy Autumn/Fall tones.
